The Wright Family Foundation: Policy

It is the policy of the Wright Family Foundation, Inc. to assist organizations in need of funding to support capital projects that will have a positive impact on the lives of people in Schenectady, New York and its surrounding counties, Brazoria County, Texas, and Cocke County, Tennessee.

The Foundation contributes 5% of its net assets annually to not-for-profit organizations for capital improvements. Funding for underwriting or administrative support will not be considered. In addition, funding requests under $1000 will not be considered, however, there is no maximum limit.

The Wright Family Foundation does NOT provide support for the following:

organizations lacking proof of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Service code
annual operating support or fund drives
religious or political organizations
athletic events or sponsorships
social functions or advertising
